Dalkey Archives Cricket Club

The club was founded in 1987 for the purpose of playing Taverners Rules Cricket Matches each summer. The Archives are a small and friendly outfit, most of whom reside in or around the Dun Laoghaire area. The club's name was inspired by Flann O'Brien's 1964 novel, "The Dalkey Archive” and reflects the fact that, for many years, home games were played at Castle Park School in Dalkey.

For a number of reasons - age being one of them - we operate a fixture list that mostly involves sociable Friday evening Taverners games, starting at 6pm, with one or two more competitive fixtures thrown in.

Our home ground is kindly provided by St. Andrew's College in Booterstown.

Our current President is Geoff Nurse.
